Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to establish clear inspection expectations.
  • Familiarize yourself with turbine installation manuals and specifications.
  • Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO) and shutdown procedures.
  • Inspect turbine components, including towers, blades, nacelles, powertrains, and hubs during delivery.
  • Document any damages occurring during the offloading process, including photographic evidence.
  • Participate in tower walk-down inspections alongside related teams.
  • Work with turbine suppliers and contractors to develop mechanical punch lists for project management.
  • Conduct initial post-commissioning inspections to verify the resolution of punch list items.
  • Report any non-conformance issues to the project manager.
  • Facilitate daily meetings to address discrepancies with contractors and manufacturers.
  • Perform specialized inspections for unique issues as directed by site management.
  • Maintain a vigilant approach to worksite safety conditions.
Qualifications

  • Capability to manage daily paperwork and inspection reports efficiently.
  • Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Experience working at height is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Construction certification.
  • NFPA 70E certification.
  • GWO Basic Safety Certification.
  • Knowledge and experience with borescopes.
