Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team in an Intake and Admissions role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and orderly admissions into our hospital. Your primary duties will include receiving incoming admission inquiries, assessing patients for admission, and making appropriate referrals. You will also play a crucial role in streamlining the patient experience by completing necessary assessments and medical documentation, moving patients through the admission process to their designated unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients for admission and make referrals as needed
  • Complete necessary assessments and medical documentation to facilitate a smooth patient experience
  • Work closely with the Director of Assessment and Referral to ensure efficient admissions processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current nursing license
  • Two years' clinical experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably
  • CPI and Handle with Care certification (offered on-site)
