ReadyWork Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Bakersfield Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Use technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors.
- Order parts and materials as needed and coordinate with vendors to complete maintenance tasks.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track and document maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure expenses are within budgetary constraints.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with computer software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
