CoreOS Power Engineer

Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented engineer to manage our fleet of Apple devices, ensuring they're up-to-date and available for testing. As a CoreOS Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for provisioning and deploying released and unreleased hardware, debugging and troubleshooting device hardware and software failures, and developing automation scripts to manage machine configuration and software deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a fleet of thousands of Apple devices and peripherals
- Ensure devices and systems are up and available for testing
- Provisioning and deployment of released and unreleased hardware
- Debugging and troubleshooting device hardware and software failures
- Developing scripts and automation for managing machine configuration and software deployment
Requirements:
- Experience with shell scripting or Python
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools
- Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
- Experience with administrating/troubleshooting macOS, iOS
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with RESTful services
- Experience working with Splunk
- Core understanding of LAN network infrastructure
- Experience with common data center infrastructure
