At Apple, we're looking for a talented Power Sensing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you'll work closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to develop and integrate best-in-class automation tools. Your primary responsibility will be to build, maintain, and continuously improve software infrastructure, ensuring high quality and agility with software architecture, unit, integration, validation, and automation tests.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain software infrastructure for wireless power technologies*
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation tools*
* Ensure high-quality software architecture and testing*
**Requirements**
* Proficiency in Python programming*
* Experience with other languages (C/C++, MatLab or similar) a plus*
* Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) a plus*
* Experience developing test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools*
* Experience with wireless test lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter) a plus*
* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience*
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience running automated testing systems and robots*
* Knowledge of large data storage (Amazon S3 or similar) a plus*
* Knowledge of web-based applications (REST APIs) a plus*
* Passion for software architecture, APIs, and high-performance modular software*
* Basic knowledge of inductive or wireless power transfer a plus*
