Job Summary

The Staff Psychologist will provide a full range of psychological services, including assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation, to women Veterans and their families. The psychologist will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally competent clinical services consistent with Veterans Health Administration policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct services, including assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation, to women Veterans and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to women Veterans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs of women Veterans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care.
• Supervise pre-doctoral psychology trainees and participate in the supervision of trainees in other disciplines.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited graduate program.
• Licensure to practice psychology in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
• Experience working with women Veterans and their families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
