Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in construction
  • ACI Field 1 Certification
  • Nuclear Density Gauge Certification
  • CAPA Asphalt Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of construction materials testing
  • Daily preparation of detailed field reports
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Self-driven with strong technical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Capability to assess technical documents
  • Willingness to travel for project durations

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in construction projects
  • Familiarity with Colorado Department of Transportation
  • Experience with other State Departments of Transportation
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration standards

Work Environment:

  • Work across diverse terrains and weather conditions
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs
