Resident Relations Coordinator

Gates Hudson & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Resident Relations Coordinator to join our team. This role is a key member of our property management team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving resident concerns, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill customer/resident requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve resident concerns and issues in a fair and efficient manner
  • Prevent solicitors from entering the community and maintain a secure environment
  • Process marketing and resident account information in Yardi/Residential Portal
  • Know and follow emergency key procedures, including key issuance, tracking, and lock-out protocols
  • Monitor cameras and ensure the safety and security of the community
  • Ensure all visitors are properly greeted and registered
  • Manage key issuance policy and control keyboard access
  • Answer phones using company telephone greeting standards
  • Administer packages and distribute mail to residents according to company policy
  • Provide concierge services for residents, including dry cleaning, event planning, and local directions
  • Assist residents with move-in and move-out procedures
  • Offer prospective residents information about the community and its amenities
  • Write work orders and ensure they are given to the appropriate staff member
  • Follow-up on resident service requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Conduct courtesy calls to residents to ensure their needs are met
  • Be aware of company goals for resident satisfaction and retention
  • Handle all emergency situations according to the guidelines established in the Emergency Procedures manual
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service and follow-through skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Outgoing personality and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Basic computer experience on Microsoft Office Products and Internet Navigation
  • College education preferred
