Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the necessary medical care and provide emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, conditions, and treatments while ensuring confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment for all patients.
- Utilize essential skills for patient care, including effective communication, operation of medical equipment, and adherence to cleaning protocols.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic regulations related to emergency medical response.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Possession of a valid State Driver's License.
- State EMT certification is mandatory.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Driving record must comply with company policy.
- Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
- Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
