You will establish comprehensive processes to ensure that all facility equipment meets safety checks and inspections in line with safety control programs and local regulations. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving program-level objectives for maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster developmental opportunities for team members and cultivate collaborative relationships across functions. Actively seek and respond to performance feedback, collaborating with leaders and staff to set goals and provide constructive coaching aimed at enhancing performance. Pursue professional development, focusing on hiring, training, and nurturing talent for future growth opportunities while strategically assessing talent for succession planning.
- Oversee designated teams by translating strategic business plans into actionable items, ensuring the completion of assignments while identifying areas for improvement. Maintain adherence to policies and procedures, partnering with stakeholders to ensure that services meet expectations and align with departmental strategies. Build accountability within the team and communicate clear goals and objectives, incorporating necessary resources and forecasts into team plans.
- Manage the implementation of new and updated facility equipment by overseeing installations, updates, and training on proper operations and safety protocols. Drive the team to optimize processes for acquiring technical service manuals and evaluate the need for future equipment enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards for preventative maintenance by providing guidance on complex safety initiatives and monitoring team progress in performing maintenance tasks.
- Plan and supervise long-term maintenance strategies for facility equipment, ensuring teams have access to necessary resources for repairs and providing cross-organizational guidance.
- Promote a culture of safety by encouraging team members to complete safety tasks and participate in safety control programs, ensuring proper documentation in the maintenance management system.
- Enhance vendor relationship management by continuously assessing operational processes and driving the team to manage vendor performance and relationships, identifying impactful process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, or ten years of experience in a related field.
- Valid Driver's License where applicable.
- Five years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Five years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
