**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Food & Nutrition Services department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical nutrition therapy to our patients.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for performing nutrition assessments and reassessments on all patients as per policy. You will develop and revise nutrition care plans using the Nutrition Care Process to meet the patient's needs, response to treatment, and evaluate it for effectiveness. Additionally, you will communicate and coordinate with physician and other healthcare personnel as needed on the nutrition care plan of the patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments on all patients as per policy.
  • Develop and revise nutrition care plans using the Nutrition Care Process.
  • Evaluate the need for Medical Nutrition Therapy Education and develop a plan based on learning needs.
  • Assist in planning of therapeutic diets and implementation for patients.
  • Update and maintain the medical center diet manual and associated education handouts as needed.
  • Provide group lectures and nutrition education for the community when requested.

Requirements:

  • Licensed by the Wyoming Dietetics Licensing Board.
  • Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics- Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR).
  • Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.

Salary: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance available, plus competitive pay ($85,000/year).
