Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall operations of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming calls in a cheerful and marketing-oriented way, determine the purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Message Management: Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel.
  • Communication: Answer general questions about the community, provide callers with information, and refer specific questions to appropriate staff.
  • Guest Services: Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain current lists of residents who are hospitalized, update appointment calendars, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Mail and Package Management: Receive, sort, and route mail, and maintain and route publications.
  • Office Support: Maintain copy and fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes.
  • Supply Management: Order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect rent checks from residents and family members, and provide needed information to bookkeeping for billing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
  • Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00/hr - $19.55/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience. Our benefits package includes paid holidays and PTO, community employees may receive annual anniversary rewards, and employees may be eligible to receive an Annual Scores Reward of $500 (Full Time) or $250 (Part Time) based on community survey results.
