We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at Sherburne Medical Center in Sherburne, NY. This is a full-time, 100% out-patient practice in a busy, well-established office located in conjunction with Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY.
About the Role- Provide primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices.
- Help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations.
- Educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments.
- Conduct physicals, order tests, and serve as a patient's primary healthcare provider.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.
- Possession of an NPI (National Provider Identification) number.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- Three (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.
