Job Title: Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Trillion Technology Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the secure, efficient, and scalable deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services to automate the deployment of applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct security assessments and implement security controls to protect cloud-based applications, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles, with a strong understanding of AWS services and security best practices.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline, and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with security best practices and tools (e.g., AWS IAM, AWS KMS, security groups).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Previous experience working on federal contracts.
