Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest room assignments and key distribution
  • Process guest payments and resolve any billing discrepancies
  • Provide directions and recommendations to guests
  • Assist with wake-up calls and other guest requests
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Department to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Respond to phone inquiries and provide general information to callers
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
