Transforming Excellence in Naval Warfare

Ultra Maritime, a world leader in naval magnetic silencing systems, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler, Heavy Magnetics to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing function, you will be responsible for the assembly and integration of cutting-edge products and systems that safeguard the seas and empower navies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and wire various magnetic components
  • Winding experience (bobbin/layer winding)
  • Reading winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical drawings
  • Mechanical assembly and reworking
  • Working with different types of wire types and installation systems
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with soldering, reworking, and mechanical systems
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Able to read and interpret specification, diagram, and/or blueprints
  • Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction)
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting and transport of units up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Position requires extensive standing and/or sitting, and good eye-hand coordination
