Backroom Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory, maintaining a clean and organized backroom, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom, adhering to all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
• Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
• Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Team player with ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
