About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dining Room Server to join our team at Mercy Retirement & Care Center, an Elder Care Alliance Community. As a Dining Room Server, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and satisfying.
  • Record food orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our computerized Point of Care system.
  • Prepare and serve meals, including salad and breakfast bar, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist residents with special requests and needs, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless meal service, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in food service or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending.
