Job Title: Senior Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Physical Therapist to join our team at Ventura County's outpatient clinic, Eastman Therapy Services. As a leading healthcare provider, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants, children, and adolescents, and possess strong clinical skills in pediatrics. Under the direction of our team, the Senior Physical Therapist will evaluate referred patients, plan and coordinate physical therapy treatment programs, and supervise the clinical skills of staff physical therapists and assistants.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their physical and functional needs.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients from newborn to 21 years old, addressing a variety of disorders and conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Supervise and train staff physical therapists, assistants, and students to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in the maintenance of departmental equipment and ordering of supplies.
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing department needs and overall planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of physical therapy or proof of equivalency.
  • Two years of physical therapy experience or successful completion of an internship program with the hiring department or an equivalent training program and one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Possession and maintenance of a current valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the State of California.
  • Possession of a current valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Possession and maintenance of a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
  • Some experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
