DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO

Estamos buscando un Gerente de Operaciones hábil y orientado a resultados para dirigir nuestra nueva instalación de producción. El candidato ideal tendrá una sólida experiencia en entornos de producción alimentaria y será muy competente en la gestión del cambio y el desarrollo de procesos. Se requieren excelentes habilidades interpersonales y determinación, así como la capacidad de asegurar que el equipo trabaje de manera colaborativa para lograr resultados.

RESPONSABILIDADES Y DEBERES
  • Gestionar una instalación de producción alimentaria innovadora con un fuerte enfoque en la entrega, gestión de personas, seguridad, calidad y costos.
  • Contratar, desarrollar, entrenar y gestionar un equipo de empleados.
  • Impulsar expectativas, estándares y cultura en alineación con los valores de la empresa.
  • Promover la mejora continua para aumentar el rendimiento, reducir costos y mejorar la calidad.
  • Colaborar estrechamente de manera transversal para resolver problemas relacionados con el cultivo, mejora de procesos, calidad, mantenimiento, etc.
  • Asegurar que se cumplan los estándares impecables de seguridad alimentaria y controles de procesos mientras se cumplen los estándares de producción.
  • Participar en procesos de gestión de personas en el sitio, incluyendo gestión del rendimiento, reclutamiento y desarrollo de empleados.
  • Mantener un diálogo abierto con los equipos comerciales sobre la disponibilidad de productos y pronósticos.
  • Seguir todos los requisitos de seguridad y mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro para todos los miembros del equipo.
  • Ser responsable del presupuesto operativo de la granja y del control de inventarios.
  • Otras tareas según se asignen.
CALIFICACIONES
  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en gestión general en un entorno de producción alimentaria de mediana a gran escala.
  • Título universitario en agricultura, ciencia, ingeniería o negocios o experiencia equivalente.
  • Habilidades excepcionales en gestión de personas, incluyendo coaching y desarrollo práctico.
  • Supervisión de empleados en múltiples departamentos.
  • Comunicación positiva y profesional. Capacidad para construir relaciones a todos los niveles de la organización.
  • Disposición y aptitud para aprender continuamente sobre producción de cultivos en interiores y la industria de agricultura vertical.
  • Capacidad demostrada para adaptarse a nuevos productos y ayudar a traducir desde I+D y ingeniería a operaciones.
  • Fuerte capacidad de resolución de problemas y agilidad para operar en un entorno con procesos en desarrollo.
  • Experiencia en un entorno de fabricación LEAN.
  • Disposición para trabajar algunos fines de semana y horas fuera de turno cuando sea necesario.
