Director of Quality Management
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality management strategies to enhance patient care and services.
- Lead the infection control and employee health programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to design and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to departments in designing, implementing, and analyzing quality improvement projects.
- Conduct chart reviews and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present analysis of significant quality improvement findings.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid state license or other clinical licensure.
- Experience in quality management, survey readiness, risk management, infection control, employee health, and education.
- Familiarity with accrediting standards such as The Joint Commission and CARF is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality improvement and statistical process control.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification is preferred.
