Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor associates and senior associates on engagement teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality valuation and financial advisory services.
  • Select and implement appropriate valuation methodologies, crafting comprehensive opinions and reports that withstand audit and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities by cultivating a robust network of referral sources.
  • Engage in practice development initiatives, including leadership in professional associations, conference presentations, and contributions to technical publications.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, board members, shareholders, and trustees throughout all engagement phases.
  • Develop intricate financial models and provide analytical support for mergers and acquisitions, financial opinions, and other valuation projects.
  • Prepare detailed client deliverables, including valuation reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence on companies, industries, markets, and competitors.
  • Participate in client discussions and due diligence meetings, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, and research comparable publicly traded companies.
  • Exercise professional judgment to provide proactive solutions during engagements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the industries and markets served by Houlihan Capital.
  • Manage multiple client engagements effectively, ensuring timely completion of analyses and reports.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant valuation experience.
  • Expertise in established analytical approaches and methods.
  • Experience with complex valuation and transaction advisory.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or an MBA is preferred.
  • Active CPA, ASA, CFA, or related professional credentials are advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required; familiarity with Bloomberg or S&P Capital IQ is a plus.
