As an integral part of our legal practice, you will provide comprehensive support to our attorneys in all aspects of immigration law. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our immigration cases.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with the preparation of family-based petitions, including removal defense applications;
- Prepare I-589 asylum applications with meticulous attention to detail;
- Support the process of naturalization petitions and waivers (I-601 and I-601A);
- Draft essential legal documents such as support letters, table of contents, memos of law, and immigration forms;
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear guidance and updates on their cases;
- Maintain meticulous organization by archiving documents related to completed and ongoing cases;
- Gather and organize client documentation for filing with USCIS and EOIR;
- Contribute to administrative tasks as needed to ensure the efficient functioning of the office.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an immigration paralegal role;
- Proven familiarity with USCIS/EOIR procedures and regulations;
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective client communication;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
- Exceptional writing and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role;
- A highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a commitment to accuracy.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience ($20-$25).
