Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Roofer to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a commercial roofing specialist, you will be responsible for leading our roof installation and repair projects in the Boise Valley.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate of $25-$32 per hour, with paid benefits including 100% employee health insurance, spouse/family health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401K/profit sharing, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and recertification of OSHA 10 hour course, Manlift, Forklift, and First Aid by the company if needed.

Job Description

As a Lead Roofer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, repairing, or replacing various roof systems as instructed using specialty tools as necessary
  • Installing vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation, as well as full roof assemblies
  • Completing any necessary demolition or tear-off tasks
  • Setting up and taking down work sites, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors
  • Being available for overtime work
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • The ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screening
  • Basic ability to use hand tools specific to job duties
  • Ability to carry out duties in varying outdoor climate conditions for extended periods
  • Compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy
  • Provision of own transportation to job sites whenever required
  • Mental alertness to ensure accurate completion of work activities
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, twist, turn, and reach frequently
  • Lift 50 pounds without difficulty and maintain physical exertion over long periods
  • Comfort working in environments more than 6 feet off the ground
  • Presentation of professional appearance by wearing company-approved attire and maintaining professional conduct at all times
  • Punctual arrival at job sites and preparation to work daily
