Adjunct faculty members are tasked with the effective planning and delivery of courses in a classroom setting, catering to students from diverse academic backgrounds and experiences.

We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach Mathematics courses. Classes may be scheduled during daytime, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Adjunct faculty are appointed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters, and/or up to 8 credit hours during the summer session. The teaching load is based on student enrollment and staffing necessities. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed, including assistance to the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proficient understanding of instructional technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to engage with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff

Minimum Requirements: A Master's Degree in Mathematics or a Master's Degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in college-level teaching and/or relevant professional experience.
