We are proud to be the first and only 6-bed residential care establishment in Orange County, focusing solely on the needs of terminally ill individuals. Our mission is to offer a nurturing environment where residents can spend their final days in comfort, surrounded by a dedicated team of professionals.
Our residents often include hospice patients who wish to avoid the challenges of home care, as well as those who desire a serene setting to conclude their life journey. We collaborate closely with medical hospice partners to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of our residents' well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety checks on residents.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support residents in maintaining personal hygiene.
- Provide medication assistance, when properly trained.
- Accompany residents to meals and activities.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and manage laundry as needed.
- Document relevant information accurately.
- Assist with dietary needs, including meal preparation.
- Ensure the safety and health of all residents at all times.
- Complete incident reports as necessary.
- Report any health, safety, or sanitation concerns to a supervisor.
- Address known or suspected elder abuse as mandated.
- Facilitate and lead resident activities.
- Communicate effectively with residents.
- Respond to emergencies, including contacting emergency services when required.
- Participate in ongoing training as mandated by regulations.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess the following:
- Clearances from DOJ and FBI fingerprinting.
- Current first aid certification.
- Health screening with a negative TB test (completed within the last 6 months).
- Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted and push 40 pounds unassisted.
- Compliance with facility policies and state licensing guidelines.
