Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee activities, workflow, and nursing resources for assigned units.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards within the unit(s).
- Identify and address challenges impacting patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance health service efficiency.
- Establish and maintain quality monitoring systems for the unit(s).
- Conduct recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Licensure and Certification:
Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing is required prior to employment or transfer.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in a Level III NICU is essential.
