We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patients' medical records.
- Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
- Write progress notes, prepare patient work-ups, and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
- Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise.

- Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of Inpatient experience with a high degree of clinical judgment
- MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with a current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
- MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP). Updated NCCPA certification for PA's. BLS and ACLS are required.
