Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment using industry-standard procedures and tools.
- Diagnose equipment problems through observation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Request and obtain necessary materials and parts to complete repairs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Oversee contractors when external repair services are required.
- Assist in training and developing other team members.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
- 2-4 years of experience in machine maintenance or equivalent education and experience in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting skills.
- LOTO Training: Must be trained in Lockout-Tagout procedures.
- Mechanical Skills: Strong aptitude for using tools and machinery, with the ability to quickly adapt to both familiar and unfamiliar equipment.
- Reading Skills: Ability to read and comprehend machine drawings, instructions, and other documents.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Math Skills: Basic mathematical skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reasoning Ability: Capable of understanding and executing detailed written and oral instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
