About Us

Rio Grande Regional Hospital has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for over 30 years, providing high-quality medical care to our community. Our hospital features 320+ beds, a team of over 500 physicians representing 35+ specialties, and a range of inpatient and outpatient services. We are proud to be a Level III Trauma Center and have extended our emergency services to remote locations throughout the Valley.

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in our Progressive Care Unit. As a PCU nurse, you will provide patient-centered care to critically ill patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Your expertise will help us achieve our goal of delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
