Membership Development Manager

Greene Resources is seeking a highly skilled Membership Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving membership growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase membership revenue and drive growth.
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective members to ensure timely follow-up and engagement.
  • Plan and execute member development events to foster relationships and drive sales.
  • Lead the recruitment of new Board of Advisors to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the Board, Advisors, Ambassadors, and staff to support membership sales efforts.
  • Oversee the Ambassador Committee to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Represent the Association at industry events to identify new prospects and build relationships.
  • Manage new member relationships to ensure engagement and retention.
  • Assist in creating effective communication and marketing materials to support recruitment efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with associations, chambers, or university organizations.
  • Knowledge of the North Carolina business and tech community is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with executives and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and prioritize assignments.
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and social media, with an aptitude to learn new technology platforms.
  • Availability for limited travel and some morning/evening commitments.
  • Passion for providing timely and professional customer service.
  • Savvy with tech tools to improve engagement and member experience.
