Job Summary

Embassy Suites Amarillo Downtown is seeking a highly skilled Banquet House Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all meeting space functions.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain all meeting space, including tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Coordinate with event planners to ensure all logistical needs are met.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas.
  • Stock and maintain the banquet storeroom with all necessary supplies.
  • Be familiar with fire exit and extinguisher locations and follow all hotel safety rules.
  • Break down and store equipment and supplies after events.
  • Notify management of any hazards or concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations.
