Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Kia Georgia, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of parts provided by suppliers and reviewing current internal and external quality indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather data from multiple sources to identify root causes and improvement points for quality issues.
  • Review production processes and vehicle quality output to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct PFEMA and Control Plan Audits on various production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with production groups to implement short-term countermeasures to address quality issues.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex quality problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with quality control systems and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and its application in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with SAP system preferred.
