Job Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator comprehends the Client's Procurement and Supply Chain (PSC) methodologies and frameworks to enhance and sustain them. This role is pivotal in monitoring orders, managing delivery setbacks, liaising with the warehouse supervisor, and confirming that all shipments are dispatched. The coordinator ensures that the Client is equipped with the necessary supplies and inventory to operate seamlessly. Key responsibilities include engaging with suppliers regarding the status of materials and troubleshooting to mitigate the effects of delayed deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates timely deliveries to align with business requirements and timelines.
  • Modifies purchase order promise dates, delivery sites, and PO adjustments as necessary.
  • Establishes and communicates punctual delivery objectives for essential suppliers.
  • Contacts vendors to verify details and address inquiries.
  • Responds to questions to resolve issues or directs them to the appropriate departments.
  • Collaborates with management to formulate and convey corrective action strategies to ensure supplier compliance.
  • Engages in implementation initiatives and contributes to special projects as assigned.
  • Investigates and addresses significant matters on behalf of management.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations Management (or 4 to 6 years of equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong PC skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications are essential.
