Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Specialist to oversee the medical records function within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all healthcare information.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare information management and possess the necessary certifications, such as RHIT or RHIA. You will work closely with our CFO to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

As a Medical Records Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff and ensuring the day-to-day performance of their jobs. A minimum of 2 years of full-time paid experience in a related area is required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the medical records function to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all healthcare information
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies
  • Manage staff and ensure day-to-day performance of their jobs
  • Collaborate with the CFO to ensure effective management of medical records
Requirements
  • 2 years of full-time paid experience in a related area
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification
  • Strong background in healthcare information management
