  • JOB SUMMARY
  • The Patient Registrar is responsible for ensuring the smooth and organized registration of patients, collecting accurate patient information, and informing patients about hospital policies and procedures. This role involves managing patient demographics essential for the preparation of records and reports that inform operational decisions. The position requires access to confidential patient information and necessitates frequent decision-making based on general procedures, often without clearly defined precedents. A high level of mental alertness and close attention to detail is crucial. The registrar must exhibit professionalism and diplomacy when interacting with patients, families, visitors, medical staff, and other personnel, serving as the initial point of contact and creating a positive first impression of St. Bernards Healthcare. Responsibilities include registration across various areas under the supervision of the Admissions Manager.
