About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $ $83,400 - $114,000, depending on experience and qualifications. As an Ascension associate, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance options, retirement benefits, and more.

Job Description

In this role, you will perform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions. You will evaluate patients for the presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting the most effective procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines. Your responsibilities will include performing appropriate diagnostic procedures, recording patient test results, and reporting results.

You will also monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses. Additionally, you will maintain adequate supplies and verify that all equipment is in proper working condition, reporting deficiencies and failures as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. You must also hold current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and one or more of the following: Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
