Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in developing and nurturing professional relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Nurture Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care hospitals to promote our rehabilitation services.
  • Assess Patients: Assess patients with rehabilitation diagnoses on-site at referring hospitals for admission to our rehabilitation hospital.
  • Manage Referral Process: Manage the referral process, including creating target lists of contacts and decision-makers, developing relationships, and educating referral sources on our services.
  • Support Sales and Marketing: Support sales and marketing efforts through educational programs, tours, meetings, and other initiatives in assigned hospitals.
  • Develop Strategies: Develop strategies to grow market share in core business lines in assigned hospitals, including creating quarterly goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Current Licensure: Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience: Two years of related experience working in a clinical healthcare setting or previous experience working in a clinical liaison role.
  • Skills: Demonstrated competency with the preadmission process, including assessments and relationship building in a rehabilitation setting or in another post-acute care setting. Proven track record in sales and marketing, with at least one year of experience in a related position.
