Job Summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Traveling Construction Manager to oversee high-profile food industry projects from start to finish. As the primary on-site contact, you will act as an extension of the client's facilities team, coordinating communication between stakeholders and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate site requirements, including subcontractors, materials, equipment, and labor
  • Engage with clients to meet company standards for margins, quality, and safety
  • Examine and process shop drawings and submittals
  • Provide direction and training to Assistant Field Construction personnel
  • Manage construction meetings and material suppliers
  • Review and process payment requests

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering; or 10-15 years of supervisory site experience
  • Foodservice construction and refrigeration experience preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction aspects, including technology, equipment, methods, standards, and labor relations
  • Expertise in all CSI divisions
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and practices
  • Understanding of project development, cost estimation, and occupancy requirements
  • Strong management, technical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and HazCom certifications
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Project, Outlook, and Word
  • Procore experience beneficial
  • Professional references required
