About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the food service program in a single site, ensuring that food quality standards, inventory levels, and customer service expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the food service program, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety guidelines.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff to ensure that quality dining services are provided at all times.
  • Maintain records of income and expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format.
  • Responsible for all training, quality control, and in-servicing staff to meet HCSG standards.
  • Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition is required.
  • Must show proof of or successfully complete an approved Conference of Food Protection (CFP) Food Protection Manager (FPM) course within the first 14 days of employment.
