We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist Labor and Delivery to join our team at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, via oral, IM, SQ, or IV route.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in timely and efficient discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition of patients to the appropriate level of care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS and NRP certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
