Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and uphold a Quality Management System that aligns with the company’s objectives and contractual commitments.
  • Enhance quality processes to foster continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and reporting requirements for both the organization and its government partners.
  • Oversee quality control across various projects and teams to achieve quality benchmarks and ensure timely project completion.
  • Establish a robust quality management process in collaboration with the AS9100 certified contract manufacturer.
Daily and Monthly Duties
  • Manage the Quality Management System to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams and project leaders to effectively implement the QMS.
  • Assist project teams, both internal and external, to guarantee optimal quality assurance practices.
  • Define quality objectives for diverse teams and external collaborators.
  • Conduct regular internal quality audits.
  • Review nonconformance reports, corrective actions, and root cause analyses.
  • Facilitate communication with government quality representatives and support audit processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Capability to obtain Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Quality Management for technology-related projects.
  • ASQ quality control certification is advantageous.
  • Prior experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) procedures is a plus.
  • Understanding of Configuration Management.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for customer engagements.
