CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose and modeling our values. You will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, as well as overseeing the operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and colleagues.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintain high standards of pharmacy practice and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and ensure compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and colleagues.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff to achieve their full potential.
- Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory effectively to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy by managing costs and improving profitability.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses to protect the pharmacy's assets.
- Workflow Management: Streamline pharmacy operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
