  • Leading a team of laundry staff to ensure that all laundry tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry department to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that laundry needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performing equipment maintenance to ensure that all laundry equipment is in good working order.
  • Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the laundry department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a laundry or hospital setting preferred.
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
