We are currently seeking Paramedics to support our operations in the Middle East.

As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing care in one of the following environments:

(1) Field Health Unit

(2) Small medical/trauma facilities

(3) Large medical/trauma hospitals.

Location: Deploying to Iraq

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer emergency medical procedures, including management of respiratory, trauma, and cardiac situations, along with patient evaluations.
  • Deliver medical services within the Paramedic scope to ensure the health of personnel.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of urgent health needs, analyze relevant data, and collaborate with the medical team to create a feasible care plan.
  • Identify and address medical conditions in accordance with established protocols and state regulations.
  • Measure and document vital signs, collect samples, and assist patients and visitors.
  • Prepare examination areas, organize medical supplies, and maintain equipment.
  • Document and communicate patient information accurately.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with standard protocols and privacy regulations.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education to stay updated with current healthcare practices.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality through proper procedures and ensure correct medication administration.
  • Recognize and document signs of physical and mental health conditions.
  • Exhibit strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities daily.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Oversee financial transaction reconciliations and ensure consistent application of contract charges.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Paramedic.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with ongoing education leading to certification as an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic.
  • Possess and maintain an active and unrestricted State Paramedic License, free from pending adverse actions, and meet Acuity credentialing standards.
  • Required certifications include: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), or Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), or Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).
  • Valid U.S. Passport is necessary.
  • National Registry – Paramedic certification is preferred, with some positions requiring NR-P.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication capabilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with MS Office applications are required.
  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements, including potential shift changes based on operational needs.
  • All healthcare providers must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months within the past year.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid, current U.S. Driver's License is required.
  • U.S. Passport must have at least 6 months of validity remaining.
  • Successful completion of a security background check and drug screening is necessary.
  • Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and adhere to its terms.
  • Current certifications must be maintained.
  • Attendance at a Pre-deployment Counter Terrorism training course is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Familiarity with basic word processing software and Acuity Medical Management Systems is expected.
  • Normal workweek will be determined by the Program Manager.
  • Adhere to safety policies and participate in safety training and meetings.
  • Ensure safe operating conditions within your area of responsibility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
