Job Summary

The Nurse Recruiter plays a vital role in the recruitment process at King's Daughters, working closely with leadership and the Human Resources team to attract top nursing talent. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Essential Functions
  • Recruit for all assigned positions within the area of responsibility, utilizing a range of sourcing strategies and techniques.
  • Assist other recruiters as needed with recruitment activities for areas not assigned, providing support and expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Source applicants, conduct screening interviews, and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers for further consideration.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to schedule interviews, follow up on hiring decisions, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with local high schools, healthcare training programs, and other organizations to promote King's Daughters as an employer of choice.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of recruitment materials, career fairs, and other events to attract top talent.
  • Assist with compensation activities, including salary calculations and job reclassification, to ensure fair and competitive compensation packages.
Education, License, Certification, and Other Requirements
  • Minimum requirement: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses, with an active RN license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (or other eNLC state with multistate privileges) and any other states as applicable.
  • Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, 2-3 years of recruitment experience, and knowledge of ATS systems.
Working Environment
  • Works indoors in an office/clinic setting with moderate noise levels.
  • Travels frequently to area training organizations, career fairs, and other locations to promote King's Daughters and attract top talent.
  • Must be able to work with a large number of hiring managers and applicants with conflicting priorities, exercising good judgment and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Physical Demands
  • Constantly required to maintain a stationary position behind a computer.
  • Frequently required to move about inside the department.
  • Constantly required to communicate telephonically and face-to-face with colleagues and customers.
  • Constantly required to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
