The Nurse Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the recruitment process at King's Daughters, working closely with leadership and the Human Resources team to attract top nursing talent. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Sourcing: Identify and recruit qualified nursing candidates for various positions within the organization.
- Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to schedule interviews, follow up on hiring decisions, and refer selected candidates for pre-employment/post-hire physical screening.
- Event Planning and Community Outreach: Participate in career fairs, organize recruitment events, and develop relationships with local healthcare training programs and high school careers counselors.
- Compensation and Benefits: Assist with compensation activities, including salary calculations and job reclassification, in conjunction with compensation and management teams.
- Professional Development: Maintain effective working relationships within the organization and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and maintain active RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or other eNLC state with multistate privileges.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, 2-3 years of recruitment experience, and knowledge of ATS systems.
- Works indoors in an office/clinic setting with moderate noise levels.
- Frequent travel to area training organizations and career fairs.
- Must be able to work with multiple hiring managers and applicants with conflicting priorities.
- Constantly required to maintain a stationary position behind a computer.
- Frequently required to move about inside the department.
- Constantly required to communicate telephonically and face-to-face with colleagues and customers.
- Constantly required to operate a computer and telephone.
- Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
