Position Overview
Provider Solutions & Development is actively seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to enhance our esteemed team, delivering exceptional care to patients in the community. The attending physician will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of the Department/Division, working under the guidance of the Department Chair. The MFM Attending is instrumental in ensuring that the Division maintains a standard of care that aligns with both national and local benchmarks, while also engaging in Quality and Safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality maternal and fetal medical services.
- Participate in departmental operations and contribute to strategic planning.
- Engage in ongoing quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active medical license in the State of Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
- Valid Illinois Controlled Substance license prior to employment commencement.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Board Certification required within two years of employment.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of an ACGME approved maternal fetal medicine fellowship or anticipated completion before starting the role.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
