Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee utility construction and maintenance projects, including design review, cost estimate approval, and work activity monitoring.
  • Lead teams to identify and resolve issues that require direct customer involvement, such as inquiries, right-of-way, complaints, and damages.
  • Presents projects and participates in capital management processes.
  • Communicate and coordinate job requirements with customers, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in project scheduling and assign job priorities to meet company and customer requirements.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to other project leaders and designers.
  • Initiate and administer line extension contracts.
  • Direct the work of others assigned to their project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with seven to eight years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two years of project management experience or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in gas or electric utility design or construction of similar types of projects is preferred.
