Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Wound Care Specialist to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care for patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound management, IV therapy, and patient education.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care
  • Provide patient, family, and staff education regarding wound management, wound etiology, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies
  • Be a resource person for physicians, wound care team, and clinical staff
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care for IV therapy patients in the Treatment Center
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in wound care and IV therapy
  • Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
